The Security Survey is the corner-stone of any services provided. The key function of the survey is to identify all significant assets, assess threats and assign a relative risk value.
The Security Survey can be focused on priority areas including:
- General information security
- Database and customer data security
- Physical security
- Blast mitigation
- Access control
- Surveillance vulnerability
- Employee and 3rd party security
- Data transport security – both physical and electronic
- High-risk employee and Executive level personal security
The Security Survey should be carried out at the beginning of a project and repeated periodically (along with External System Validation) to help assess current security levels and guide future systems development.
